Be part of our award-winning emergency planning program! Volunteers help with setup and breakdown, assist with activities, and even step into the role of a ‘zombie’ to make the experience engaging and educational for participants.

Join us for a Monthly Community Beautification Event with the City of Lewisville! On Saturday, May 16, 2026, we will be at Austin Kent Ellis Park completing a variety of park improvement projects, including cleaning park amenities such as picnic tables, play structures, and restrooms, along with litter collection and light maintenance tasks like painting and minor repairs. This is a great opportunity to give back to your community while helping keep our parks clean, safe, and welcoming for all. All tools and supplies will be provided, and volunteers of all ages are welcome!

Meeting location is Austin Kent Ellis Park, 902 S Old Orchard Ln, Lewisville, TX 75067. Volunteers will meet near the main parking area. Additional parking is available along Sylvan Creek Dr.

Join us for a Monthly Community Beautification Event with the City of Lewisville! On Saturday, April 18, 2026, we will be at Oakbend Park completing a variety of park improvement projects, including tree pruning, litter collection, and invasive species removal. This work will help prepare the park ahead of the upcoming Oakbend Trail project. It’s a great way to spend your morning outdoors while making a positive impact on your community. All tools and supplies will be provided, and volunteers of all ages are welcome!

Meeting location is Oakbend Park, 200 Oakbend Drive, Lewisville, TX 75067. Volunteers will meet near the park trailhead.

Serve as a member of the jury by listening to cases and helping decide fair consequences. Jurors build confidence, critical thinking, and teamwork skills while learning how the justice system works.

Present cases as either a prosecutor or defense attorney by questioning the respondent and making recommendations to the jury. This advanced role develops public speaking, leadership, and real-world legal skills.  You must have served on the jury a minimum of 4 times and as a bailiff a minimum of 2 times.  You also must have permission from the Teen Court Coordinator.

Support courtroom operations by assisting the judge, maintaining order, and helping sessions run smoothly. This leadership role is for experienced volunteers who demonstrate responsibility and professionalism. You must have served on the jury a minimum of 4 sessions.

The Teen Cadet Program introduces young men and women to careers in Law Enforcement. Cadets receive leadership opportunities and build confidence through successful completion of trainings and competitions. Cadets volunteer throughout the year with special events at the police department and the City of Lewisville. They volunteer at Western Days, Battle of the Badge, and assist with parking/traffic control at special events and PD/FD-related funerals.  Cadets meet monthly on Saturday mornings.

Volunteers assist our Municipal Court and Warrant Officers by making phone calls to individuals with Class C warrants.  Phone calls would be for documentation, notification, and payment options.

Support our special needs community by assisting with event setup, serving as a chaperone during the event, help with food service, and supporting cleanup and breakdown afterward.

Service Saturdays are monthly events on the 3rd Saturday of each month, that are aimed at beautifying Lewisville through plantings, invasive plant removals, litter cleanups, and more.
