Volunteer: Lewisville Public Library Teen VolunteersPlease click RESPOND to show your interest in this volunteer program! Lewisville Public Library's Teen Volunteers provide support to the Youth Services Team through a variety of activities including collection maintenance and program preparation. Teen Volunteers are also invited to assist with special events throughout the year. All prospective teen volunteers must pass an in-person shelving test and then complete an Orientation Session. Once forms are completed (including a required digital signature from a parent or guardian), volunteers can begin to schedule hours. Orientation Sessions occur when there are openings on the Teen Volunteer team. Volunteers are limited to a maximum of six hours per week except when helping with special event programs. One two-hour volunteer shift per month is required to stay active in the program. Once you are signed up through the City of Lewisville's volunteer portal and you've clicked RESPOND to indicate your interest in this program, you will be notified when an Orientation Session is scheduled so you can register to attend.
