Who We Are
Boards and commissions play an important advisory role in the City of Lewisville by providing guidance, expertise, and community perspectives on a wide range of City policies, programs, and initiatives. Appointed by City Council, these volunteer bodies review proposals, make recommendations, and help shape decisions related to areas such as planning, parks, public safety, arts, and quality of life. Through public engagement and thoughtful deliberation, boards and commissions strengthen transparency, encourage civic participation, and help ensure City decisions reflect the needs and values of the Lewisville community.
